About Damla

Damla Yarar is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and educator with a background in fine arts, film, and community-based art practices. She completed her MFA at OCAD University after receiving her BFA from the University of Waterloo. Through painting, workshops, and creative events, Damla focuses on creating welcoming and expressive spaces that encourage creativity, connection, and conversation.

Asli Dogan leads the organizational, marketing, and community engagement side of D&A Creative Toronto. With a background in hospitality and studies in Sales & Marketing in Toronto. She specializes in event coordination, social media, outreach, and guest experience. Her warm and thoughtful approach helps create the inviting atmosphere behind every D&A event.
